since i'm in a damn good mood. i'm going to write in my blogger. i've been reading a little of david edelstein's reviews and damn really love the guy. i guess its because his taste in movies is very similar to mine. hehehe

anyway, let me write to you about my continuing adventures in cinema.

i watched dog soldiers yesterday. and damn, it was a riot!

as usual it wasn't fun when you were watching it, but it was fun after you watched it. i got to watch it with my pal herbie and we had a blast! teeth flying, etc. sorry i don't know where the spoiler tags are here yet. anyway, i love the fact that the british are getting into genre movies. it's so fun. slash and gore special effects with british humor. thank you, guy ritchie, for bringing british cinema up to speed.

danny boyle will be releasing 28 days later. so that should be a blast.

8 legged freaks is looking good (though not british, but kiwi actually)

i'm enjoying genre films now, because of my obsession with aintitcool and other film freaks of the world. cult filmmaking is great filmmaking.

and so let me go on and on coz i'm so pumped up. i went to the gym today, and so i am bursting with energy! i love that place, i think i'm becoming addicted.

anyway, what else. i'm reading raging bulls, easy riders, and its changing my life. i never realized there were so many people similar to me in the world. and not just the good ones but the bad ones. it seems i have found my tribe. and they love film! =)

brash young cinema is growing (not in size, but more in what i want it to be) but i have other plans coming up soon

and its going to be a blast, too

what do i want to watch in cinemanila? Heaven

others, actually the selection this year is fantastic. i hope they show all of them

i want to see mike de leon's movie, the man who wasn't there, lagaan, in the mood for love, y mama tu tambien, central station

good for them! yahooo!

i'm going to dumaguete soon. so that should be fun.
