since i'm still a bit drunk
and i am bit reflective

i am going to type something, which i call the meaning of life...

while watching Apocalyptic Now
and thinking about all the angst in this world
it got me wondering
what is all this angst all about anyway.

it got me thinkin

and so i guess, what i am thinking of is an answer to Marlon Brando.

there are many situations in this world that are unfair, unjust, unhappy and unright
but it doesn't mean that one should just resort to what Marlon Brando did in Apocalypse Now
anger is a decision
just like many things in this world
in the beginning, it may not seem so
but as one gets older, one can learn to control it

in the end, if one does good, one does good
if one does bad, one does bad
and so if you had to choose
choose the good

i get the cheeziest lines from the cheeziest movies
like Hardball, the most important thing is showing up
like Jologs, our lives are all interconnected

so do not release one's anger on the world
release it on something else, like work, or a punching bag or a blog like this

coz in the end if we just choose not to do evil
then nobody would do it
