I love my MTRCB card more than money, coz it is a lot more convenient.

Saw Lost in Translation today with Hannah. And I must say, I like it more than Return of the King. I hope it beats ROTK, coz it would put the Oscars on a whole different tack. It's not impossible but improbable. The Academy is composed of a few thousand voters or so. The Academy itself chooses its members, I think there are something like over a dozen members in the main committee who do the choosing. Someone once said that the Academy can not choose something too indie or else it would alienate the mainstream. But in the end, the Academy is composed of voters, and so they can select any movie they want to win (the nominees are also pre-selected by the main committee). But I'm sure the Academy's main committee stock the voters list with "their kind of people." But who knows.
