surprise, surprise, I Robot is getting good reviews from people I respect, Berarideli (or however that is spelled) Desson Thompson, and Rosenbaum.  my traditional critics, edelstein and morgenstern panned it (and so did Ebert).  Overall critics have panned it.  but i'm suprised by those who gave it a thumbs up.  interesting.  i've read I, Robot, and so I come in jaded.  but with these good reviews (at least numbers, I don't read it, for fear of spoilers)  I come now expecting a bit more, and I have a feeling i'll like it now.  keeping my fingers crossed for a surprise.  i am so in need of good entertainment right now.  feck, i'll just keep my expectations low.  anyway, if i do watch it, i will write a full review.  i haven't done that in awhile, and I want to get back into form.
 
oh yeah, proyas is directing, which is the only reason why i really was perhaps interested in watching it (i watch anything, even though if i know i'll hate it.  i'm addicted like that.)
