I finished The Hammer of God yesterday.

And as a fan of sci-fi, especially Martian sci-fi, it was nice to see how Clarke paid tribute to his other co-creators of the Golden Age of Science Fiction.

It was most nostalgic.

I have read more science fiction than I imagined, in my life. Okay, I haven't read that much, but I read the good ones. I remember reading Ray Bradbury's Martian Chronicles when I was a kid, and it was the most magical.

Basta, it was nice. :)

(It was quite clear that the next writer I should read is Heinlein, The Woman on the Dark Side of the Moon or something like that. I've avoided Heinlein for awhile, coz his cover art has always looked kind of stupid. Or maybe it was because of my early experience with Megadeth. Anyway, I never wanted to read books that looked like Valley of the Vole or written by Piers Anthony. I also have to read Princess of Mars by Edgar Rice Burroughs. I am turning total geek. I can not resist. I have nowhere else to go.)
