one of the greatest years in filmmaking is up ahead
from imdb.com according to release date
Elektra by Rob Bowman
Constantine starring Keanu Reeves
Millions by Danny Boyle
Kung Fu Hustle by Stephen Chow
Sin City by Robert Rodriguez, Frank Miller AND Quentin Tarantino (okay, one scene only =D )
Kingdom of Heaven by Ridley Scott
The Hitchiker's Guide to the Galaxy by Garth Jennings
Star Wars III: Revenge of the Sith (okay might as well include it for closure)
Batman Begins by Christopher Nolan
Wars of the Worlds by Stephen Spielberg (hmmm, these last 3 are the typical summer hits, big, dumb and stupid, but you still watch them or HAVE to watch them :)
Charlie and The Chocolate Factory by Tim Burton (worth seeing not really to see Burton, but more to see how Depp handles it. So far it doesn't look good. But Danny Elfman is still in top form ;)
The Island, by GASP! Michael Bay (it is no big secret I'm a Michael Bay fan, but I am particularly excited by this movie coz Bay took a different type of movie. It will probably still be dumb though. I honor his first movies, not his lasts ;)
Okay, that's it for movies I would see in the first round.
There are other movies pa like Ultraviolet by Kurt Wimmer and The Fountain by Darren Aronofsky, but they are still unannounced. Plus there is a movie pa by Neil Marshall of Dog Soldiers fame called Crawl Space, that I haven't been able to find buzz about pa. Hope this director gets to make another movie.
hmmm, and King Kong and Harry Potpot are coming out in December (oh no I said it!)
And, of course, there are the katangahan movies like
Herbie Goes Bananas starring Lindsay Lohan. Beep. Beep.
and the Dukes of Hazzard with Jessica Simpson in short shorts. Glee
