I saw Spy Kids 2 today. And I was blasé about it. Now don’t get me wrong. It was a great movie. The effects were amazing, the sets were beautiful, the production was really imaginative, the characters were funny, the directing was magnificent, so I guess the only part where it fell short was in the writing. Oh well.
Other contributing factors that may have affected the movie. I left my cellphone in the car, and so I was thinking about it the whole time. Second contributing factor, I have seen the trailer sooo many times, that I may have ruined the best parts (Damn you, internet download temptations! Hehehe)
There were two parts though that gave me a rush in the movie, were in the beginning, when I saw the characters, the good ones and the bad ones. But that was all. Oh well.
Needless to say, I will be watching it again. Hehehe.
Second thing on the agenda today. Ateneo beats Lasalle!!! Wahoooooo! It is so nice to have a win in our pocket. It is our first heartfelt win in a long time. I do hope so much that we win the next one. But if we don’t, it will be okay. Anyway, even if we win this championship, we have to win a couple of more, to get our respect back from Lasalle.
sorry couldn't get a better pic, hehe.
What I like about today, was that Villanueva was able win his respect back. Lots of people keep on dissing Villanueva from last year’s final, that he took so many banban shots. But if you look really closely, he was the only one taking the shots last year, because the rest were so scared to take bad shots (except Tenorio, but he was too tired). Thank God this year, Villanueva’s shots were on target.
Tenorio is still a god! That last 14 seconds time that he took to waste time was amazing. Total presence of mind. He left Lasalle flat-footed. But there is no doubt that Villanueva and Tenorio are the men of the match.
