anyway, let me post it again.

I bought Battlefield Earth yesterday. The book, not the movie. I bought the book coz I mean it couldn't have been that bad, that they made a crappy movie out of it. wait a minute... anyway, i bought it coz L. Ron Hubbard wouldn't have such a strong following if his writing sucked. heck, the man founded his own religion (which looks suspiciously like a tax break to me). anyway, surprise, surprise, the book is actually good! i don't know if i will finish it from beginning to end, but i am still reading it.

and to add the proverbial icing to the cake, i bought it for only 25 pesos at Powerbooks! Such bargains can be found, if one is willing to look (and dig) long enough. so in the end, i guess i'm glad the movie sucked, and so no one bought the book, and i got it at a steal, and i picked up "because" i didn't like the movie (in fact I hated it)
