Today, I saw one of the most beautiful things I have ever seen in my whole life.

And no, it wasn't some dumb paper bag blowing in the wind.

My friend Jet came home today.
And he hadn't been home in 6 years.
But the clincher was, he hadn't told anyone, except for another one of my friends Viktor.
And most of all, he didn't tell his mom.

Anyway, we were eating today at Saisaki's All-you-can-eat buffet, celebrating Tita Rorie's birthday (Jet's mom), when all of the sudden, Jet shows up. Me and Herbie (another friend) did a double take. Coz first of all this guy looked like Jet and he was even bringing cake?

But the most powerful moment was when he walked straight to his mom and gave her a big hug. It was one of the most heartfelt hugs I have ever seen. Complete with Happy Birthday soundtrack pa in the back (a mariachi band, of all things, was playing behind us). I think he hugged her straight for around 30 seconds. No need to say she was crying and quite speechless.

There is more to the story. But that will do for now. Good nite.
