I was watching Joan of Arc last nite, well at least parts of it.
And its a really good movie.



Except of course, when Milla Jovovich wasn't in battle (she did the battle scenes pretty good at least). The problem with Milla was she was always in a state of frenzy which was ridiculous and even if Joan really was in a state of frenzy all the time, Milla wasn't believable. A girl that crazy wouldn't be that pretty or at least have a prettiness that is hidden almost. Of course the other unwritten Hollywood rule is never cast your wife.



But its too bad Besson has been traumatized from filmmaking ever since this movie and Fifth Element. This guy is a genius. The movies he has produced are not bad, but him directing would even be better! Come back, Besson, come back!
