i had a conversation today with the great Teddy Co.
we talked about blood island films. he said they were directed by Gerry de Leon and Eddie Romero. In fact it is infamous to note that one of Gerry de Leon's last films was a blood island film. and Eddie Romero is more famous in America for his blood island films than any of his other films, that enough is enough to make him a national artist. hehehe.
