I call it the curse.
Once you win the Oscar or once you get 20 million dollars per movie, and probably if you direct a super duper blockbuster movie (I just watched Home Alone kasi, and it's pretty good.) Chris Columbus has never directed any movie this entertaining since.
so in a way, it's good not to get 20 million dollars per movie. good for the audience, maybe not for the actor. but maybe good for the actor na rin, coz he keeps on making quality movies. and more importantly, gets respect.
