My short review of Torque.

Joseph Kahn did a decent job for a first feature. He has a future in action movies. Lots of people dissed this movie coz it was too MTV-ish. No duh. That's exactly what he is, a music video director. He is definitely one to watch out for because he didn't drop the ball. And for me that's good enough.

(For those of you who already don't know, Joey is total Michael Bay fan, and thus his appreciation for MTV-type movies.)

Alrite, more. I personally don't like his music videos, because he rips off other people a lot, but this movie had its own character. He does, however, tend to be lazy. He could pack his whole movie (or video for that matter) with fantastic visuals, but he holds back. You know he can do it, because he already has some pretty good visuals. He should fill his whole movie with them, kinda like McG. In the end, he may not come out with a masterpiece, but he may come out with something kistchy, or if he's really lucky, even cultish.
