Katsuhiro Otomo, the creator of Akira, is coming out with his first movie in 16 years.

It's called Steamboy.

And it looks visually fantastic.

Now I'm afraid if this movie is going to be good, because Akira wasn't exactly the best storywise, but visually, it could be the greatest movie ever made. It could be the same with this movie. But Otomo could be older, so the story could be even worse. I was quite disappointed with Spirited Away. There were parts of the movie that were enthralling but I wasn't swept away. I think Hollywood was just trying to play catch up when they gave the award for that one.

So I'm not expecting much from this one. But I still expect a visual treat.
