Thursday, October 21, 2004 In my continuing obsession with all things movie, history is beginning to show that the seminal event in moviemaking was Jaws, the beginning of the Blockbuster. But I don't care, for me, it was Star Wars. But it's interesting how Spielberg architected the beginning of the Blockbuster with movies like Close Encounters of the Third Kind.posted by Joey at 6:06 AM
