my dream

for those of you have been to Brash, this is my dream.

I'd like to leave the Brash the way it is right now, but I'd like to change what is outside the red door.

I'd like to put a chrome bar near where the sofa is, in front of that bodega door.

I'd like to seal off the area from where the motorocycles park up to the top of the stairs so I can aircondition it.

And on really big nights, I'd like to use the whole garage area, with the area at the bottom of the driveway to be the stage/dj booth/movie screen. I'd like to put speakers on the four corners of the garage. Maybe even make the garage walls sloping or have benches built into it. White with portholes like the walls of a spaceship.

I'd like to set up the old brash with disco lights. Like a rave. My dream for the interiors would also be like a spaceship, but shiny white plasticated like a robot from I robot (or Chris Cunningham), like out of Minority Report or the Star Wars prequels (remember the clone facility with lots of storm troopers.

I'd have a white wall with think sheets of plastic on 4 metal studs to protect the walls. Maybe even preserving some of the signatures on the back. Or just painting it all and adding new ones.

I like the coffeeshop off Fully Booked, but I'll probably have to design it myself.
